Margueritte Couture went to Milan Fashion Week in Milan

Milano Moda Dona is the biannual meeting of the Italian fashion that showcases the professionals of the sector that new spring/summer and autumn/winter collections for women. It is the most eagerly anticipated prêt-a-porter appointment in the world. Each edition of Milano Moda Donna offers a refined array of collections packed into a hectic schedule of over 230 shows and presentations by specialised companies, with the presence of approximately 2500 Italian and foreign journalists and more than 15.000 buyers.

What an event!!! So special, so extravagant, the Golden Square and the city opens its arms to the eclectic invasion of models, journalists, buyers, design companies, photographers, fashion editors, stylists and professionals in the sector.

It is almost impossible to get decent accommodation, unless you book three months in advance. It is also very difficult to get invited to major private shows, giving it a sort of a closed-circle feeling.
